Wei Zou is a Solution Architect at Cisco’s IoT Product Management Networking group. He is leading the solution development for transportation vertical including Rail, Roadways, Mass Transit, Aviation, Ports and Terminals. With more than 20 years of experience in networking, software and product development, Wei created the most advanced architecture for transportation industry. He authored the Cisco Connected Transportation Design and Implementation guides, a Cisco Validated Design (CVD). Customers around the world leverage these CVDs as blueprint to deploy their solutions. Wei has been actively participating in industry forums and events that hosted by industry leading organizations such as the American Public Transportation Association, Association of American Railroads Wireless Communications Committee, and the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. Finally, Wei earned a Master of Science in Information System from Hawaii Pacific University, and Bachelor of Electronic Engineering in Automation from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Wei also holds the most prestigious networking expert certificate since 2005: Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE).
